Security by design
We built our platform with a 'Security by Design' philosophy from day one. It wasn’t an afterthought; it is baked into our core patterns and integrated into every layer of our stack.
We treat encryption as a structural requirement, utilizing Application-Level Encryption to ensure any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) remains unreadable, even to the database engine itself. To secure this process, we leverage the AWS Key Management Service (KMS) and strict access controls and policies of least privilege.
We comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) we only work with level 1 service providers.
We abide by the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation GDPR regarding the processing of personal data who reside in the European Union.
Cloud Depot is hosted by Amazon Web Services.
User passwords stored in Cloud Depot are encrypted using a one way hashing with unique long salts.
We host our product with Amazon AWS. AWS is an ISO 27001 certified company with data centers secured with 24 hour surveillance and biometrics.
We use 256bit backup encryption on all database backups and securely store them in two different global regions.
Cloud Depot uses a globally recognised threat monitoring service to actively monitor and block inbound threats to our hosting platform.
We have added a layer of security to help protect your account. Each time you log in, you will need to enter a code generated by an app on your smartphone.
We believe in knowing only what is required to provide our service and nothing more. If we no longer require the information (such as sync logs) we delete them from our database servers.
We don’t store credit card numbers on our servers, your credit card information is stored by our credit card provider eWay, a tier-one PCI DSS compliant gateway.
We run internal and external load balancers with automatic failovers to make sure we maximise our uptime.
